But as far as Emagin goes.. they were the ones who did the Zelda booth display (fishes and bridge 3-d holograms). So far that's their only connection with Nintendo and the 'meeting' described in that phone call could be about another booth display in the same vein.
It's entirely possible Nintendo could want some kind of 3-D visor thing from Emagin, but there really isn't anything backing it up other than "stereoscopic 3-D exists and Nintendo is making another console".

What I don't like is that he thought he was giving gamers hope and making things interesting, but all he did is frustrate us and get us angry because we knew he was fake to begin with except he kept dishing out these stupid rumors and still insisting that he was the real deal. It just gets people angry.

Either Serious Gamer is lying about legal action (has anyone seen documentation of such) to make us think they are shutting him up because he knows something or he really does know something and is shutting up now before he gets in deep trouble. =P
The guy claimed to have received non public inside information from a source at a publicly traded company. Then proceeded to tell thousands of kooks to call that company. Not too bright imo. How did he think they would react? Nintendo may not be able / not care to shut him up , but the S.E.C. is another horse entirely.
Just for those who think this is harmless fun - the guy wasted the time of people at both companies through his gag- and had there been a relationship in the making (which I sincerely doubt) - do you think Nintendo would like to learn that an employee at Emagin was divulging information to some fanboy attention freak over the phone, as he claims? Even though it was not the case - what if he did in fact stumble on the truth (again which I doubt ) - he could have severely strained any potenital relationship between the companies with such stupid allegations.

And the "truth" ads are a waste of time. It is not the cigarette company's fault that people want to try out cigarettes and get hooked on them.
