Mana Legend Picture

The following was sent to me through a comment under my web help needed post.

You will obviously notice that it says ATI in the bottom right corner which undoubtebly means that this was another ATI tech demo. I don't have anything to say except that this is certainly not a Mana Legend screenshot.

It's a fake. Someone from the German site "consolewars" made it. I read that he wanted to spread it. You can see it here:

He made other fakes, too. He is very good.

I actually don't think its that good of a fake. Legend of Mana although very nature nature driven...is also pretty abstract with the art. That image is very bland and completely uninteresting. Why would you present that as your main logo? Even as an in game shot or part of a level it really isn't very pretty or interesting.

I think it is a fake because if it is actually a demo it would be stupid to make the linux/gnome-like bar at the bottom of the screen saying "powered by IBM and ATI,only for Revo,wi-fi,blah,blah,blah" because people watching that already know the Revo is powered by ATI and IBM.
Maybe there would be only a Square Enix logo.
