Also the fact that it is displayed in 480 widescreen is suspicious. I'm guessing since REV will not support HD, Nintendo will not go out of its way to support 16:9 either.
Notice the white chunk under the picture. He probably cut off the bottom from the original which could have given away the fact that its not for the Rev.
I do agree but not completely. There are some things that have to be attributed to the graphics engine alone which help create atmosphere such as the heat warping effect, the incredible explosive effects, the facial animations, and most important to note: the ability to display an almost unlimited quantity of high-polygon characters on screen at once.
The game would not have been the same if there were not so many enemies at once.

Also I would like to add that if you have read this guy's blog, he makes numerous claims that the REV will be the most powerful console ever.
Don't you think that a console that powerful would look a hell of alot better than this? Especially if its an all-important "halo-killer"
On a side note, I think Halo and Halo 2 were mediocre at best with clunky controls and bland visuals. The audio was excellent though.

I agree to a certain extent, but from beginning to end in RE4 I was constantly just taking time to observe how gorgeous and detailed everything was.

if you ever played a doom3 engine based game you will always recognize every game that is also doom3 engine based.
there are some typical thinks about the doom3 engine, first there are always small rooms and hardly no big areas - why?
if you ever used the doom3 level editor you will know why.
it cant be a far cry screenshot because the texture of the walls in far cry are not very good compared to doom3.
it could be a halflife 2 engine based game screenshot, but its not probably.
so please, i'am a pc gamer and i know these engines very well trust me its a doom3 engine based game.
Maybe you guys are spending so much time trying to disprove him that you are not seeing the truth in what he shows.
